Professional Experience
Janice practices in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Administration, and Civil Litigation
(both plaintiff and defense, for individuals and businesses), and Workers’
Compensation. She is admitted to practice in the New Jersey State Bar, Pennsylvania
State Bar, District of New Jersey Bar, U.S. District Court Third Circuit Bar, and the U.S.
Supreme Court Bar. Janice appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court as co-counsel in
the case of J. McIntyre Machinery, Ltd. v. Nicasto, 564 U.S. 873 (2011).
Janice is an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School, teaching a Real Estate Law
Practicum.
In June 2026, Janice was sworn-in as a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar
Foundation.
In September 2017, Janice was sworn-in as the Burlington County Trustee for the New
Jersey State Bar Association, and served for six years, until the term limit was reached.
In June 2017, Janice was installed as Chancellor for the Rutgers Law School Camden
Alumni Association, a two-year term.
Janice is a past president of the Burlington County Bar Association, a past president of
the Burlington County Bar Foundation, past Chair of the Worker’s Compensation
Committee, past Chair of the Technology Committee, and past Chair of the Real Estate
Committee.
A 1997 graduate of Rutgers Law School in Camden, Janice received her undergraduate
degree in Business Administration from The George Washington University in
Washington, D.C. After law school, she was law clerk to the Honorable Roger F.
Mahon, retired, of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Hunterdon County.
